smooth install.

A note- my Ubuntu 10.04 didn&#039;t recognize the unzip command, I had to use:

sudo wget http://bart.eaccelerator.net/source/0.9.6.1/eaccelerator-0.9.6.1.tar.bz2

and

sudo tar xvjf eaccelerator-0.9.6.1.tar.bz2 &amp;&amp; sudo rm eaccelerator-0.9.6.1.tar.bz2

		<description>Just wanted to say thanks for posting this information up, it was very helpful. I install on Ubuntu 10.04LTS and made sure I used the the latest version of eAccelerator and all worked perfectly.

One thing to note is that the I had to make the php_info(); command look like phpinfo(); before that php information pagewould work.</description>
